Job Title: Corporate and Litigation Lawyer

Role Summary: This role demands a proactive, detail oriented professional with strong advocacy skills and a principled approach to corporate governance

List of Duties:

– Act as company secretary, ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements.

– Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements on behalf of the company especially land, properties, and the regulatory ministry/agency

– Respond to all legal issues, including, but not limited to course cases, tribunals,and regulatory inquiries

– Provide proactive legal risk assessment and strategic legal advice to senior management

– Manage litigation strategy, coordinate wig external counsel and oversee matter progress

– Maintain and organize corporate records, filings and essential compliance documentation

– Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the business and communicate impact to stakholders

Experience Needed: Minimum 5 years of post call to bar experience ( corporate and litigation practice strongly preferred)

Educational Level: Qualified lawyer with active practice license to the bar

Core Competency and Skills:

– Proven track record in corporate, governance, company secretarial duties, and litigation management

– Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills

– strong communication and interpersonal abilities

– capable of interacting with senior management and external parties

– proficiency in relevant legal software and document management system

– Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to details and deadlines

Necessary certificates, licences and registrations:

– Corporate and litigation practice strongly preferred

– Active practice license to the bar

Salary: 350-400,000

Working time:9am-5pm

Working Days: Monday-Friday with exceptions for court appearances as required
