Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and strategic HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resource management at our Tunganmaje office. The ideal candidate will drive HR policies, foster a positive work environment, and ensure compliance with local labor laws, while aligning HR strategies with business objectives. Proximity to Tunganmaje is a major determining factor for this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in areas such as recruitment, performance management, training, employee relations, and compensation, ensuring alignment with company goals and local labor laws.
• Assess HR needs and create approved action plans to address staffing, training, and development requirements.
• Manage the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent through a fair, cost-effective, and non-discriminatory approach.
• • Oversee performance management, leave, and disciplinary procedures to maintain high standards of performance and compliance.
• Foster industrial peace through open, regular communication between employees and management, resolving grievances promptly to maintain a positive work environment.
• Identify training needs, recommend, and implement approved programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
• Manage the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for personnel changes, salaries, and training.
• Conduct organizational reviews to ensure optimal staffing levels and advise on staffing plans during annual operating planning.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of [5-7] years of progressive HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations in Nigeria.
• • Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies, systems, and procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proximity to Tunganmaje, Abuja, is a major determining factor due to operational requirements.
• Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD) is an added advantage.
