Job Title: Retail Product Manager

Grade: Banking Officer / Assistant Banking Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Purpose:

To support the design, development, enhancement, and management of retail banking products that meet customer needs, increase revenue, and drive customer acquisition and retention in alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and enhancement of retail products (e.g., savings accounts, current accounts, personal loans, salary accounts, digital products, debit/credit cards).

Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to inform product strategy.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, compliance, IT, operations, risk, and branches) to deliver product value propositions.

Track product performance and customer uptake; recommend improvements to drive product profitability.

Monitor regulatory trends and ensure product compliance with CBN guidelines and other relevant regulations.

Prepare product performance reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Support training and communication plans for branch staff and relationship officers on product features and benefits.

Identify opportunities to digitize retail product offerings and improve customer experience.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field.

Experience working in retail banking, product development, marketing, or digital banking

Knowledge of digital banking trends is an asset.
